Hilary Kaye and Joe Niernberger live in concert!

We will be performing a set of old-time, traditional, and Carter family tunes from 5-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 12 at the Early American Museum in Mahomet, featuring Joe on guitar and Hilary on mountain dulcimer, guitar, and pennywhistle. Hilary will also demonstrate tunes on the mountain dulcimer from 2-5 in the museum gardens as part of the second Sunday artisan series.

Big Bluestem at Krannert Uncorked

Now’s your chance to see Big Bluestem at the Krannert Center!

BBSB features Kathleen Everingham (fiddle), Jose Agusti (guitar, etc.), Tom D’Avello (banjo, guitar), Drew Phillips (mandolin, fiddle), Todd Kinney (bass) and Rebecca Grosser (guitar). They play an eclectic repertoire of traditional and not so traditional acoustic music.

Come out to hear some fancy fiddling, prodigious pickin’ and mellifluous melodies from 5-7pm on Thursday, August 2 at Krannert Uncorked in the lobby of the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Urbana, Illinois.
